Program eligibility:
The Master’s programme is
designed to fit the professional demands of management staff or persons
involved in teacher training, education administration and management at
different levels (school, sector, district, and national level), academic
quality assurance in universities / higher learning institutions, and
development services in the field of education.
The
Master’s programme admits graduates with
- A Bachelor’s degree in
education
- A Bachelor’s degree in
teacher training; graduates from teacher training programmes of
universities and teacher training colleges for all types of schools (early
childhood, primary and secondary schools) will be admitted.
- A bachelor’s degree in
other fields but who have completed a postgraduate diploma in education
(PGDE)
- Candidates should have
at least a second-class lower division with 65% score or equivalent.
- Having professional
experience in schools excluding the traineeship/preparatory teaching
period or in development agencies in the field of education will be an
added value.
- Candidates should
demonstrate sufficient ability in English allowing them to follow their
studies.
- Candidates should have
sufficient computer literacy
Candidates should submit a file containing the
following documents: A letter of motivation and a curriculum vita, a well
completed registration form, a certified copy of the bachelor’s degree, two
passport-size coloured photographs, a copy of the identification card or the
passport, and a payment slip of non-refundable application fees.
