Bachelor Of Architecture (B.ARCH)

Programme Eligibility

The programme will be attended by students who completed successfully secondary school Year with at least two principal passes, preferably in the following combinations: -Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics, Biology-Mathematics and chemistry, Mathematics-Economics and Geography, Physics-chemistry-Biology, Mathematics – Physics and Computer Sciences, Construction, and training in Rwanda Polytechniques in the domains of Civil Engineeering, land surveying or from other higher learning institutions in the similar domains aforementioned or architecture , urban planning recognized by Higher Education Council of Rwanda. The candidates will be admitted in year one of this programme on basis of their performance in the national examination of secondary education in the courses mentioned above. This programme offers the possibility of credit transfer for students who seek admission after covering some credits elsewhere. The transfer of credits for students transferring from other higher learning institutions will be based on an evaluation of content similarity. A module will be considered for credit transfer if its content is deemed to be at least 80% similar to the corresponding module offered at our institution. This ensures that students receive credit for courses that align closely with the academic standards and learning outcomes of our programs. Guidelines set by HEC on Admission in higher learning education will be also taken into consideration and considered.
