Cross-Cultural Experience

·       I was the Secretary and Board member of the African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA), a body of all the various Black Majority Churches in the UK; 7 years, meeting and relating with s a diverse range of nationalities;

·       I was a Board member of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK, a body covering almost all Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches in the UK; 6 years; meeting and relating with a diverse range of nationalities;

·       In 2013 for 5 months I undertook my sabbatical with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) Africa – English Speaking, in this role I was engaged as a trainer and facilitator in Ghana, South Africa, The Gambia, Mozambique, Botswana, I was able to immerse myself in different cultures;

·       My doctoral and Master studies include field work in South Africa;

·       Working for Friends International gave me direct experience of working cross-culturally amongst various international students coming to study in the UK, understanding their respective cultures and learning how to navigate various issues with them.

·       For three years in the UK, I led and facilitated three Cross-Cultural Conferences amongst Black Majority Churches;

·       I have consulted for several Churches in the UK and Nigeria over the past 10 years in cross-cultural issues;
