The Protestant University of Rwanda Language Center
(PLC) serves as a tool to achieve the overall institution’s mission to provide
society and churches with well
trained personnel who are inquisitive, solution oriented, committed and
equipped with intellectual tools that enable them to meet specific needs of
societies that are moving to a global, modern and pluralistic world. PUR
recognizes that language proficiency is not merely a skill but a gateway
to knowledge, understanding, and effective communication across cultures.
Establishing a dedicated Language Center will serve as a pivotal resource,
fostering linguistic competence among students and faculty alike. By offering
comprehensive language courses, specialized workshops, and immersive cultural
experiences, the PUR Language Center will empower our community to engage more
deeply with global discourse, enhancing academic pursuits and promoting
intercultural dialogue.
